I run my own 5-piece band, The Elliott Henshaw Band, and have an album on sale – ‘Is That Not What You Wanted?’ My newest album – Who’d Have Guest? – is set for release in August 2021.
In 2012 I had the idea to organize The 25th Anniversary Buddy Rich Memorial Concert at the London Palladium. My good friend Toby Cruse produced and promoted the event I was the Creative director. Buddy’s daughter, Cathy Rich, was the host for the evening and I got to perform alongside many leading names in the international drumming community.
I have performed on over 50 albums and recorded music for various film and TV shows.
I teach privately, online or in person, from my home studio as well as teaching at the highly respected universities BIMM and ICMP in London.
