Elliott Henshaw

Projects

The Elliott Henshaw Band was formed in 2005 and is made up of some of the finest musicians in the country.

Taking their influence from artists such as Dave Grusin and the Yellowjackets, they play a mixture of originals and covers that highlight the importance of groove and melody.

With plenty of opportunity for the players to stretch out and be creative, it becomes quickly evident why each of them is so in demand in the industry.

The band has performed at major jazz festivals across the UK and have headlined regularly at the world-famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.

Elliott Henshaw: Seize The Day

Composed by Elliott with Lyrics by Miranda Wilford, Seize The Day was written in memory of Elliott's mum who passed away in the April of 2020. All proceeds of the song will go to East Cheshire Hospice where Helen Henshaw was so well cared for in her final weeks.

All of the musicians involved knew Helen and gave their time for free. They are some of the finest musicians in the UK who play with the likes of Duran Duran, Leo Sayer, The Brand New Heavies, Jane McDonald, Beverley Knight and Joss Stone. You can purchase the track here.
